Thanks to some close friends who are rocking 2013 with me, I was surprised with an excellent reminder for what this year is about and where I'm going.

Great Freaking Morning! Yesterday was a  miracle day. Today will be even better. Today will be my 11th consecutive day of getting up, feeding the wolf, and making it happen. Looking over my calendar and my diet log, I feel a sense of incredible resolve. I wonder why I never made it happen before. It's interesting to see the expression on peoples faces when I turn down a cake or mention my plans. Most everyone has been supportive in that, " Okay, your on the wagon for a while, good luck" sort of way. I have drawn additional strength from the way people don't necessarily see this as a life changing event for me. It is difficult to measure a person's resolve at a glance. I understand that and that's what makes it even more worth it. Everyone has something to prove someway, somehow, to somebody. Not in a negative sort of way but just to show you are capable of living decisively. For the past couple of weeks I have held my head higher and been more positive about life in general. The effects of accomplishment and determination are profound even in the beginning.  I am very glad to be here. But what do you think? Do you think I will make it? Do you see this blog as a motivated start that will hit a wall and close during the year? Don't forget we have burnt the ships. There is no turning back. We move forward and conquer. When you tell someone about your plan to accomplish something, don't camouflage it with "I'm gonna try, or we'll see how we do." Be firm, set a worthy goal and speak it into existence. The more you say what you want the more you will believe it. And belief is a powerful thing my friend.
I have had several friends show interest in making 2013 their year also. What a great feeling of a storm brewing. You empower me through your support and motivate me through your immediate action. Thank You.

Nutrition- Yesterday I took in 1716 calories and burnt 500 working out. My net intake was 1216. I had 604 calories remaining below my goal of 1820. SUCCESS

Yesterdays Workout- Chest

Even got a stamp of approval from my loyal doberman. He can't figure out why I'm jumping around in the yard so much. I'm doing push-ups on cement blocks. Toward the end of my workout, I fell between the blocks and had to wiggle out like a worm because my arms were feeling some serious success.

Thank You to everyone who is joining me on the blog daily. Your support is appreciated. You will be able to say you saw it from the start. And holy moly friend, it's gonna be worth talking about.
Have a great workout!
